Find leads from Google Maps data without scraping or spreadsheets
Google Maps is where most local businesses are easiest to find, which is why people search for a Google Maps lead finder. The usual options are to browse the map by hand or to use a scraper that bulk-extracts listings. LeadsMint takes a different route: it searches through Google Maps Platform, shows you results in a prospecting workflow, and charges a credit only when you unlock a business.
Below is what that means in practice, including the limits. If you want the full product overview first, read the local business lead finder page.
What searching Google Maps by hand is like
Searching the map directly works for a handful of businesses. It gets slow when you are prospecting properly: results are tied to the map view, there is nowhere to record which businesses you have contacted, and you end up copying names and numbers into a separate sheet. Two searches over overlapping areas show the same businesses again, and you have to notice the duplicates yourself.
What LeadsMint does with Google Maps data
You describe the search (a business type, a place, and a radius from 1 to 50 km) and LeadsMint requests matching businesses from Google Maps Platform. Results appear as a list with ratings and general location, with the business names locked. You can sort by rating, filter to businesses without a website, and select the ones you care about.
Unlocking a business costs one credit. It reveals the name and address and lets you look up the phone number and website listed on Google Maps. The business then appears in your CRM as a lead with a status, notes, tags and a contact you can fill in. A business you unlock a second time is not charged again.
Why it is not a scraper
Scraping tools pull listings out of Google Maps in bulk and hand you a file. Google Maps Platform terms restrict exporting, scraping and storing Google Maps content outside the services, and we do not want you building a workflow on something that can break or be restricted. LeadsMint is designed around on-demand lookups inside the product instead.
That design has a trade-off you should know about: you will not get a downloadable list of thousands of businesses. You get a controlled way to find, unlock and follow up on the businesses you actually intend to contact. You remain responsible for using the information lawfully and in line with the Terms and Conditions.
Limits worth knowing before you start
- A single search returns a limited set of results (currently up to 60). To cover a large city, run several searches over different areas or business types.
- Results depend on what Google Maps lists. New, informal or unlisted businesses may not appear, and listings can be out of date.
- Phone numbers and websites are only shown when the business has published them on Google Maps.
- LeadsMint does not provide email addresses. You can add an email address to a lead yourself when you find one.
- Radius is set in kilometres, up to 50 km from the point you choose.
How to get started
Create an account and open the Lead Finder. Start with a narrow search, such as one business type in one neighbourhood, and browse the results for free to see whether the area suits you. Unlock a few promising businesses, work them in the CRM, and widen the search once you know what a good lead looks like for you. How to find businesses by industry and location walks through choosing the area and category well.
Frequently asked questions
Is LeadsMint an official Google product?
No. LeadsMint is a separate product operated by Pixelhive LLC that uses Google Maps Platform to find businesses. Google Maps content shown in the product is attributed to Google Maps.
Can I export all the businesses from a search?
No. LeadsMint does not provide a bulk export of Google Maps data. Unlocked businesses are kept in your CRM so you can work them there.
Does it work for any country?
It works wherever Google Maps and the location search have coverage, but completeness varies by market. Run a free search for your area to see what appears before you spend any credits.
Try the workflow yourself
Searching is free. Unlock a business for one credit when it is worth pursuing, and it goes straight into your CRM. Plans and credit packs are on the pricing section of the homepage.
