A local business lead finder built around how prospecting actually works
LeadsMint helps you find local businesses in a chosen area, decide which ones are worth your time, and keep the ones you pursue in one place. You search for a type of business around a location, browse the results at no cost, and spend a credit only when you unlock a business you want to work.
This page explains what the product does today, what it does not do, and who it suits. For the credit model, see how credits and unlocking work; for current plans, see the pricing section.
The problem with prospecting local businesses
Selling to local businesses usually starts with a list: dentists in a suburb, restaurants near a new office, salons that have no website. Building that list by hand means jumping between maps, search results and directories, copying names into a spreadsheet and then losing track of who you have already contacted.
A lead finder shortens the first part (discovery) and a CRM handles the second (follow-up). LeadsMint puts both in one workspace so a business you find becomes a lead you can manage without re-typing anything.
How the discovery workflow works
- Choose a business type
Pick a category from the list, or choose Other and type your own, for example a specific trade or niche.
- Set a location and radius
Enter a place with the location search, then set a radius from 1 to 50 km around it. A map shows the area you are searching.
- Filter by website
Choose All businesses, or No website to see only businesses that have no website listed. The second option suits anyone selling websites, local marketing or online listings.
- Browse results for free
Each result shows its rating and general area while the business name stays locked. You can sort by rating, select several results and see which you have already unlocked. Searching costs no credits.
- Unlock what is worth pursuing
Unlocking a business costs one credit. It reveals the business name and address and lets you look up its phone number and website. You can unlock one result or a selected batch.
- Work it in your CRM
Every unlocked business is added to your CRM automatically, where you set a status, add a contact, notes and tags, and track what happens next.
The unlock-and-credit model
Search and browsing are free and stay available even when your credit balance is zero. One credit unlocks one business. Unlocking a business you have already unlocked does not charge you again, so re-running a similar search is safe.
Credits come from monthly subscriptions or one-time packs. Plans, prices and credit amounts are shown on the pricing section and are the only source we keep up to date, which is why they are not repeated here.
What contact information you can expect
After you unlock a business, LeadsMint can look up the phone number and website that Google Maps lists for it. Many businesses list a phone number; some list a website; some list neither. Whatever is available is shown, and nothing is invented to fill the gap.
LeadsMint does not provide email addresses or decision-maker names. If you learn a contact person, an email address or a better phone number, you add it yourself to the lead and it stays in your CRM. Contact details are not checked for accuracy, so treat them as a starting point.
From unlocked business to managed lead
Each lead has a status you update as you go: New, Contacted, Interested, Follow-up, Converted or Not Interested. You can add a primary contact with a role, write sales notes, attach tags and review a timeline of what you did. The leads list can be filtered by status and searched, and each lead has a pipeline showing its current stage. You can also add a business by hand if you found it elsewhere. Who it suits, and who it does not
A good fit
- Agencies, freelancers and consultants who sell services to local businesses.
- Small sales teams that prospect a defined geographic area.
- Anyone who wants a short path from finding a business to tracking the follow-up.
Not the right tool if you need
- Verified email addresses or decision-maker contact data.
- Automated email sequences, dialers or calling: LeadsMint does not send messages or place calls for you.
- Bulk downloads of Google Maps data. Google restricts that, and LeadsMint is not built for it.
- Team seats and shared workspaces.
Frequently asked questions
Is searching really free?
Yes. Searching and browsing results never use credits. Credits are only used to unlock a business.
Does LeadsMint guarantee a result for every search?
No. Results depend on what Google Maps lists for the area and business type you choose, and some searches return few or no businesses.
Can I use it outside one country?
You can search anywhere the location search and Google Maps data cover. Coverage and completeness vary by place, so run a free search for your area to see what appears.
Try the workflow yourself
Searching is free. Unlock a business for one credit when it is worth pursuing, and it goes straight into your CRM. Plans and credit packs are on the pricing section of the homepage.
